You may use InternBuddy only if you are at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the laws of England and Wales.

By creating an account, you agree that:

• You will provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, you should notify us as soon as reasonably possible.

You agree to use InternBuddy only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm us, our systems, or other users.

You agree that you will not:

• Use the services in violation of any applicable law or regulation of England and Wales or any other applicable jurisdiction.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any systems, accounts, or networks.
• Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful or disruptive code.
• Scrape, copy, or harvest data from the platform using automated tools without our permission.
• Use InternBuddy to harass, abuse, defame, or otherwise harm any person or organisation.

We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, applicable law, or used the services in a way that poses a risk to us or others.

“User Content” means any CVs, profiles, notes, job information, or other materials you upload, create, or store using InternBuddy.

You retain all ownership rights in your User Content.

By using InternBuddy, you grant us a limited licence to:

• Host, store, display, and process your User Content.
• Use your User Content to provide, maintain, and improve the services.

This licence is worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and only for the purpose of operating and improving InternBuddy. We do not sell your CV or User Content to third parties.

You confirm that you have the necessary rights to upload and use any User Content and that it does not breach any laws, confidentiality obligations, or third-party rights (including copyright and privacy).

Job listings, company information, interview tips, and suggestions displayed in InternBuddy are for informational and educational purposes only.

We do not:

• Guarantee that any job is genuine, current, or still available.
• Verify the accuracy of every job listing or employer statement.
• Control the recruitment process or hiring decisions of any employer.
• Guarantee that using InternBuddy will secure interviews, offers, sponsorship, or employment.

You are responsible for independently assessing any job opportunity and employer, and for making your own decisions about whether to apply or accept any offer.

InternBuddy may use artificial intelligence and automated systems to suggest CV edits, cover letters, interview answers, job matches, or other content.

Important:

• AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, or unsuitable for your particular circumstances.
• All AI-generated content is provided “as-is” and is intended as guidance only.
• You must review, edit, and verify any AI-generated content before using or sending it to others.

InternBuddy does not provide legal, financial, immigration, or professional career advice. You remain responsible for any decisions you make using AI-generated or suggested content.

InternBuddy, including its name, logo, interface, software, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trade mark, and other intellectual property laws.

You agree that you will not:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the platform.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the source code, except where expressly permitted by law.
• Use our trade marks, logos, or branding without our prior written consent.

InternBuddy may link to or integrate with third-party websites, tools, or services (for example, job boards or external resources).

We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for:

• Their content, availability, or accuracy.
• Their terms of use, privacy policies, or security practices.

Your use of any third-party service is at your own risk and is governed by that third party’s terms and privacy policies, not ours.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, InternBuddy is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.

We do not warrant that:

• The services will be uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors, bugs, or defects.
• Any particular job, employer, or outcome will result from using the services.
• The information provided is complete, current, or error-free.

We disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales.

Subject to the above, to the maximum extent permitted by law, InternBuddy and its owners, officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.

This applies whether the claim is based in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless InternBuddy and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use or misuse of the services.
• Your breach of these Terms.
• Your breach of any applicable law or third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate your access to InternBuddy at any time if we reasonably believe that:

• You have materially breached these Terms or applicable law; or
• Your use of the services poses a risk to other users, us, or the platform.

Upon termination, your right to use the services will cease immediately. We may retain certain information where required or permitted by law (for example, for accounting or legal purposes).

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect new features, changes in the law, or improvements to the services. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

Where appropriate, we may also provide additional notice (for example, via email or an in-app message). If you continue to use InternBuddy after any changes take effect, you will be deemed to have accepted the updated Terms.

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of InternBuddy, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply in your country of residence.
